20mph Zone Proposal for Ramsey
Cambridgeshire County Council is inviting expressions of interest for the introduction of 20mph zones within Ramsey (plan of the proposed areas to be covered is attached). This follows a decision by their Highways and Transport Committee to make 20mph zones more widely available to improve road safety, encourage more active travel and reduce noise and pollution. Town Clock
The Town Council has now completed repairs to the lights on the Town Clock, lovely to see them restored. The clock mechanism is serviced annually and it's hoped that it will be repainted later in the year.

New Offices for Ramsey Town Council
Ramsey Town Council is pleased to announce that work has started on our new Council offices in the Great Whyte.

Ramsey War Memorial Refurbishment
Ramsey Town Council has now finished the refurbishment of the War Memorial on Church Green. The work to install new foundations was carried out following concerns that the memorial was listing, following its re erection the memorial was cleaned and refurbished. A service of re-dedication was held on Monday 13 August during the service to celebrate VJ Day.
